ok ladies and gents who love to eat and help a good cause: here’s your chance to make dreams come true! tickets are still available for save our strength’s 20th annual taste of the nation, a foodtastical party to raise money in the fight against hunger and poverty. over 120 local restaurants, breweries and wineries will be there passing out thier goodies. we are thrilled to be a part of it again this year! so come see us and all the food you can throw down. starting at 5:30pm, the oregon convention center will be transformed into a magical place. did I mention you could eat as much as you want? let me reiterate: you will eat everything you have ever wanted to. then you will save room for cupcakes! check out www.portlandtaste.org for more deets.

 yeah, you heard me. I thanked tori spelling.

don’t act like you haven’t seen her new show on the oxygen network (tori & dean: inn love) or at least thought about watching it when no one was home. what’s that? you don’t have cable? well aren’t you a smarty pants? I only watch it because the pressures of working at a place like saint cupcake can really get to you. sometimes I just need to check out and unwind. that and we love talking about reality tv around here and I hate to be left out of the conversation. and we need to know what tori spelling is up to.

so I am off topic. the reason for this blog is to let you know (who have seen tori’s show, that is) that it’s been brought to our attention (cynthia, you are rad) that in episode #103 (b&b or bust!) tori decides to make cupcakes (red velvet) for a town hall meeting and they are saint cupcake’s very own recipe, which she found online....how exciting is that? we don’t know. but our cupcakes were in her hands! she even got icing on her booby.

if you’ve got some time on your hands, I highly recommend you check it out online. make sure to pause it 4 minutes and 31 seconds into the episode. you’ll see our name on her cupcake cheat sheet.  I hope it blows your mind!

saint cupcake is setting up camp this summer at the very cool Lake Oswego Farmer’s Market! beginning saturday, may 19th, you’ll see us there, with cupcakes in hand ready to serve the good folks of lake o a happy summer treat. whenever have you been able to buy a fragrant bunch of basil, a bottle of daddy hern’s bbq sauce and a fresh baked saint cupcake cupcake in the same place? never, until now, that’s when. we will be at the market on various saturdays throughout the summer, so please do stop by and say hello!

saint cupcake wishes to retract statements made in a previous blog entry regarding the easter bunny’s use of alcohol. it has been brought to our attention by the bunny’s publicist that he has been in recovery for the past 3 years and is clean and sober. saint cupcake apologizes to the bunny, his family, and fans of the easter bunny for any anguish caused by our misstatements. we commend you for turning your life around and living one day at a time, easter bunny.

but we still are going to have easter desserts that will kick the easter bunny’s tail.

the easter bunny is a tick-ridden rodent. don’t wait for that drunken rabbit to come stumbling up your walk way this easter! when he’s been drinking manhattans all day, you never know WHAT he’ll leave on your doorstep. stop by saint cupcake and feast your eyes on our gorgeous treats: we’ve resurrected our famous toasted coconut cream cupcakes embedded with easter candies and looking as cute as can be. we’ll be open on easter sunday (april 8th) if you’d like to stop by for a bite of delicious on your way to your egg hunt. we’ll even have special egg and bunny shaped sugar cookies! all easter treats will also be available on saturday, april 7th.
