hey, it’s sunday! and guess what we’ll be serving at saint cupcake today (in addition to cupcakes, of course!) PIE!

delicious blueberry pie.

and guess what else? 

delightful cobbler made with blueberries, marionberries and white nectarines.  

yes, we know we said we’d start pies the week of the 17th, but we just couldn’t control ourselves.

after a careful tabulation of votes, we have a winner in the vanilla buttercream contest. our very own michelle lynn ott counted every vote, then thom certified that yes - indeed - vanilla buttercream B is the winner. here’s the official report:

what does this mean for you, buttercream lover?
soon, very soon, we’ll be adding buttercream B to our menu - not a ‘true’ buttercream, but something very close to what your mom used to make using the handy recipe from the back of a box of powdered sugar. sweet. real sweet.

we’re having some problems at saint cupcake deciding which vanilla buttercream we like best. so, we’re going to let you, our lovely customers, do the deciding.

on friday and saturday we’ll have samples of two different vanilla buttercreams to try - all you have to do is cast your vote for your favorite - the buttercream with the most votes WINS! it’s that easy.

as long as we have no hanging chads, things should go smoothly. this isn’t florida, afterall.

ps: no, we’re not replacing our beloved cream cheese icing - we’re talking vanilla buttercream, not cream cheese.

all the delicious fruit showing up at the farmer’s market can only mean one thing: saint cupcake will be introducing pies to the menu starting the week of july 17 - no fooling! yes, we’ll still have all of our usual cupcakes - pies will simply be added to what we already serve. hurrah!
